I'm sure people are eager to find out when they will start touring in the USA. I just don't want to find out someday that the tickets already went on sale and are sold out.
If anybody has any info, please post them here. I will be checking the entries daily. Your help is appreciated!
Don't worry, if a North American Tour is announced, not only will you read about it here and learn about the new travel plans of Allan Jarvis & Cie, but you'll also have a full news coverage on the front page and a mention in the "Upcoming Events" window.
Come regularly and you won't miss it for sure!
Besides, I think such an announcement would require that we send a newsletter to our site members as well...

Just not quite as distinctively as Al 'Bonehead Football Casual' Jarvis. I'm the inoffensive looking geezer in glasses, maybe that's the issue...I need an image change (or 'makeover' as you call it!)....go for a Mohican...or a Phil Oakey..perhaps a Flock of Seagulls...

Thanks for your replies. Get Ready to me is the greatest New Order album they ever made, and I simply will not miss seeing them play these tunes live. It is already one of my all-time favorite albums. I bought a copy for Christmas to all my friends who don't have one. That's free promotion to Barney & Co!

For what it's worth, I've learned that they are one the acts that are potentially touring the States this year, hitting the amphitheaters....

why didn't you catch them at one of the four North American shows last summer????
If the Order play anywhere south of the Mason-Dixon Line, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll catch it! I hope, if no tour comes thru, they'll at least play a high-profile gig on the telly (SNL, Letterman, et al)
Sadly, I missed the 4 American shows last summer. The reason why is because I didn't know about it. I think Moby was the headliner, and I wasn't going to waste my f**king money on Moby. Then I found out later N.O. was on the bill. I won't let the same thing happen to me twice. That's why I created this topic.

thanks to our beloved Nic and Seb, I found out about this little gig in plenty of time to get to Mountain View....
and it was wonderful to be at the first North American gig since '93...as a matter of fact, it was not far off from being 8 years to the day that I had last seen our heroes...
I called to find out if any tickets were available, and there was no information. I thought I heard they were going to be hitting the USA starting Feb 2002?
