I am in the begining stages of forming a band, and I've begun putting together an instrumental based on themes from NewOrder. It starts out with the keyboard (thats me) intro from Subculture. I'm using more piano and string sound and a more resonant base line. Think of Record Mirror mix only better. Then it goes into a theme from Decades. I'd like some input from the Onliners. My friend plays saxophone extremely well. Is there a place for a sax anywhere in this. Or should we bring him in on keyboard also? Also, what other NewOrder or Joy Division themes do you think would sound good. Remember that I don't want any weird time signature or key changes, and it has to flow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What you need is a special remix done for you. I've heard that there's some geezer who can not only get Barney's vocals back in tune, but can even make the songs sound good !
