It worked with Electronic, why not New order?
I think a collaboration on one wont hurt.
What do you think?

I'm sorry, but I can't stand the PSB. the stuff that I heard from electronic made me cringe, I never listen to disappointed, and I always skip that other track he's on. I just don't like 'em, rubs me the wrong way musically you could say. So please, w/e NO do, no PSB. thats just my opinion, if anyone, work with Johnny Marr. :D
the pet shop boys remixing a new order track should be ok. as much as i like the pet shop boys, i wouldnt want to hear neil tennants voice on a new order track, especially over peters bass. it'll sound weird
I went for 'Yes, on one song'
If Gillian can't be around - those two might make up one decent woman on keyboards between them![]()
In the history of bad ideas, this would really be a very bad idea. What next: Erasure as collaborators?

And what is so wrong with gay disco?
Jethro wrote: PSB and NO. No thanks.
I second doing something with Johnny Marr would be more interesting.
Haha, Johnny marr is like the 3rd PSB
with Release and parts of Behaviour.

Oh, nothing...but some New Order threatens to go too far into PSB territory, which I must be in a specific mood to listen to.
I do not like the term "Gay" music. As i stated on PSB forum. Its disco. So you mean Happy disco
damn does your avatar make my stomach turn. i suggest you change the avatar and join the petition to shut down the bonsai kittens website

Nope - there are 2 NO tracks that have been mislabelled as PSB remixes; Regret (New Order mix) and True Faith (Shep Pettibone remix) somehow end up with PSB tagged on to the name on mp3s, but they aren't anything to do with PSB. I think Pettibone is/was a PSB producer/remixer, but that's about it as far as I know.

So popularity equals quality, eh? Interesting logic ![]()

Just look at what's popular these days, ie at the top of the charts, and tell me if it aint shite.
Sorry, popularity doesn't usually equate to quality.
I love PSB, NO And Erasure all the same. But I am an even bigger Depeche Mode fan. How can you people feel so vastly different about each band? They are from the same era and they are all still making awesome music! They all have new albums either out or on the way!
I just love electronic music from the 80's and thee above bands do it the best.
Just my opinion.
