First of all, i said it was my opinion, not the truth.

Second (and most important), since when chart, sales, guiness (?!?!) and hit singles equals quality??? I've thought you were smarter than that. If not, you are just embarassing yourself.

It makes me wish that New Order would do something interesting again, put out a non-lp single, or an EP, or collaborate with a bizarre situation like PSBs....

anything but the same old same old...

you only live once.... come on Bernard, do something crazy.

Pet shop boys....

Nooooo! Barney, don't listen to this guy!!! :) Why the Pet Shop Boys??!!? they are gone! shelved! in the past! they have lost their brains in Fairy Land....

"NEW YORK CITY BOOOOOOY...." man, that sucks in so many levels it hurts.

Of course, IMHO.

Of course New Order can't equal that Pop Duo record. After all there's 4 of them.

get behind me in the queue for that...electronic the album would have been so much better without tennant's vocals

I'm with you guys on this. PSB's can't even lace new orders boots in my eyes:nonono:

PSB are quality, people I know heard it says so. Better than the shit DJ plays at club.

Nah, PSB should not be included in any new album or track. If they want to remix a track then perhaps. But, I'm fine with them going their own way.

richard, of course PSB are better than most DJ's stuff. I never questioned that. And if you read in my posts, you'll see that i don't "hate" PSB, in fact, i said Behaviour was one of the best albums from the 90's. In fact, i have more than 100 PSB originals (between CDs, 12", etc)

So, i don't hate them, but personally i don't think they have the same range as NO.

Well. it's like comparing apples and oranges, and mixing the two would taste yukky.

However, PSB are great in their own right. Clever, Ironic POP music at it's best. Neil Tennant balladry can get a bit too "Eltonesque" at times, but Chris lowe is a briliant musician/technologist and together they are quite 'Krafty' songwriters, IMHO. Possibly one of the best UK pop groups ever.

I remember when they played at Glastonbury, i went to the Cider Bus instead !!

Why the hell not for one song. At least a song with PSB wouldn't be complete shit like Krafty, Working Overtime, or utterly boring like WFTSC.

I think NO, chose the wrong producers for their last album. Its good but lacks heart. Maybe PSB would be a good start for rebirth like with Dusty springfield.

Incidentally, on the subject of tribute bands, anyone here come across the PSB tribute that was knocking about in South Wales a few years back? They were a couple of badly-clobbered greasy-faced geezers with a passion for cheap lager and cigarettes cadged off others and called themselves the Chip Shop Boys. They did drop-dead hilarious pastiches of PSB classics like Westgate Girls, Cum Flows Thickly, Peering Through Her Beef Curtains, I'll Be Your Gravy Tonight, Opportunities (Let's Shag Lots Of Pussy), Absolutely Crapulous, Domino Pizzas, etc.... I've subsequently found out that they are two of the guys now behind Goldie Looking Chain....funny old world innit?? :music:

30 minutes later I can answer...this forum is really fucking slow:banghead: ...Now I answer...the only good new order do in their life was work with Neil and make the group Electronic. Jonny marr did a exelent work with release but nothing more...I see here so many stupid people who dont know about PSB and dont know what they are talking about. Anyway if new order wants to works with psb again be sure they will ingore your comments for sure because you seems less intelligents and I am sure they know that.

Greeting for New Order group from Spain and lost of shit for their fans.

those people who are pushing this PSB thing into THIS NEW ORDER BOARD, are really starting to be a pain in the ass. If you like PSB that much, go to a PSB forum, which you'll be (i'm sure) very welcome.

Mods, do what the mods in PSB forum do about the slagging, move all name calling to the off topic and lock it, this wont touch the topic here.

Okay, fair dos, but I'm no misogynist either. I'm simply reiterating - and indeed re-quoting - what I read somewhere else about the dodgy past concerning that "joke" band Goldie Looking Chain. We have our own similarly puerile equivalent where I come from - they're called The Macc Lads.

Go figure.
