Browsed through several of the threads after the football last night, I have been busy as fuck recently, so couldnae be arsed to post on all the threads.

Congratulations to all those who posted stories and pictures, some magic stuff there, and it kept me entertained for ages. To all the jammy bastards who met the band :clap:

Thanks to DoN, I am sat listening to the Chicago show as I type. Seems the band were in good spirits for all the shows.

And to Al and Mark and anyone else from the UK who went, I hope the Americans / Canadians laid on the same welcome they gave me and DoN a couple of years back

After reading all the stories I can't fucking wait for Barcelona and Hyde Park, hopefully we'll have some more classic stories to share with you lot.

They we're sooperb mate, folks were sound with us everywhere we went. Best part of the hols was meeting up with NOOLers.

Got twatted with Agent Wood in NYC last Friday. Top bird, matched us drink for drink, including pints. We moved onto cocktails and couldn't work out what had happened, we had three [or four?] Long Island Iced Teas in a couple of hours and we went from being relaxed to completely mullered, like I could barely walk. Discovered the next day they had 10 units in each of them :spit:

Anyways, Christy [AW] tells us a Don-story which I must share. He's on the NYC subway and some bird looks at him and says, "you've got beautiful eyes", struggling to keep myself from laughing at this point, Don replies "yeah, but you've got beautiful everything" !!. Mr Lover Lover

She's a top bird alright! We did the sights in a day thanks to Christy, and she matched me and DoN pint for pint an all, in fact one night me and DoN lasted till about 6 and Christy and her mate Nalo wanted to carry on :lol: That story about DoN is 100% correct! Memories! Glad you's had fun.

I actually lost my hability to drink when I finished university ;)

I've been sober all the New Order & After-Party in Chicago... I mean, with 5 hours of sleep in 2 days and having eaten nothing but breakfast, I had to resist.. but in NYC at TGIF, I have paid and have been paid a few stellas, let's say they almost got me drunk for the show :lol: After 10 hours of sleep, no problem there ;)

baby? aw, bless... :laugh: but no, dear. you are officially a babeosaurus. just don't let it go to your head...unlike the 'dancers' at flashdancers, i'm sure! ;)

yes we had water and pizza, but i first had a pint at the west end gate (my old uni local and kerouac and ginsberg's old haunt when they were at columbia--although i don't think they read their poetry to ludacris pumping in the background). can't say the same for gaz!

i needed the break, though, as i'd been progressively feeling crappier and crappier over the weekend. i had to leave the hen night early on saturday and on sunday i went straight from the airport to A&E--nasty case of pleurisy. :(
