Its a known fact that after the age of about 14 christmas present quality and quantity is vastly reduced. So, what did you all get? I got a Coffee maker thingy and some industrial head shaving equipment. My excellent girlfriend got me 3 different crystal 12" remixes... she knows what i like!

If it wasn't for my lovely generous bird

(lovely watch, DKNY shirt + England Cricket Top) I would have go the worst set of pressies. A sample of them includes some dire aftershave minatures with names like 'Sport' and 'For Him' which went sraight in the bin, and a coupe of shite football books which i could have written myself which cost around a quid each I reckon if I was generous.

You're so right about the diminishing returns of xmas pressies, Keeper, post mid-teens.

That said, this year, my Bro & his Mrs got me a 'Royle Family Mobile Phone Holder'. What's that then? it's a model of Jim Royle in his arm chair with a holder for your moby attached to the back.

Whenever the phone rings or receives a text, Jim lets loose one of his favourite sayings e.g. 'any chance of a brew 'ere Barb?'

It is presently sat on my desk in the office. Picture...... the MD dumps some stats on my desk..'Can you update those figures for me by this afternoon. Thankyou.', as he's walking away Jim shouts out 'Feng shui my ARSE'!!.

The entertainment value of this gift cannot be understated. Although it may get me fired.
