although the sun newspaper gave it 4 out of 5.

I've watched the Ross performance again, and think it was actually alright.
I think Jetstream is going to be one of those classic songs that will be played at Weddings and student discos for ever.
Quite right too - it's a bloody great song.
The fact that this is the poppiest song they've done for a while and the Scissor Sister factor will probably mean that it charts strongly by recent NO standards.

You appeared to be judging a track on its chart position, no?
BLT and Perfect Kiss didn't even chart, in a climate when everything New Order did went top 40. What does that say about them?

Both were single off albums, I guess? That was the theory at the time. Perfect Kiss couldn't be cut down into a radio-friendly format from the 9min monster that it was. Oh, and BLT was just shit compared to the original Brotherood version, which didn't help!
I think the general music buyers out there only gave the songs a few listens. Cause I remeber first hearing BLT and it wasn't that good at all, it sounded quite bad actually, but after istening to it over and over the true quality of the song comes out. It's one of fav songs now.

Forgive my ignorance, but what about the Low Life version? And Shep Pettibone deserved a statue for his remix of BLT. Best remix ever in my opinion.

Who cares really? I'm sure jetsream will chart in the top 10 but if not who gives a fuck really, as mentioned earlier, songs like BLT and TPK didn't make the top 10 and they are complete classics, so I couldn't care. Long live The Order!!!!
