I'm beginning to form the impression that Jetstream is not your favourite song, Michael.
You have been flooding this forum with this opinion for the last 24 hours now.
Perhaps a hot drink would calm you down...
Only because it is the new single and a hot topic at present, naturally. And you are right to deduce that I hate it with a passion![]()

Are you sure?

I always thought I had that anti-"Jetstream"-passion, too. But from time to time I find myself singing along this ridiculous "J-E-T"-line. ![]()

wim i think it has good qualities but the nationalism irks me. I dont think it belongs in a song.
whats the story behind wim? i know its for english football team but how did new order end up doing it.
Jetstream is more subversive then you think.

Interesting comment, Jonathan.
Do you mean in terms of music, lyrics, or both?
I'm not disagreeing; I think you may be right.

Im glad you think so, Patrick. I think your really neat, and you know i love your odessey theory.
About jetstream:
Not a very well-developed thought on my part. I sense desperation in the song, like it is a forbidden love affair. The only one more day sample is errie to me and i love the whistling. I start thinking about this a little more.
Similiar to Bacon lettuce tomato (bizaar love triangle). Its a sweet pop song but their's a lot behind it.
Damn it Barney never gets any credits for his lyrics.
hes my boy.

Thanks, Jonathan. You're very kind.
I certainly agree with you that BS deserves far more respect for his lyrics than he tends to get.
I should give more thought to the lyrics on this one than I have so far.
At the moment I'm just enjoying the remixes too much to think about what it means.
Please excuse my horrible grammar. Im a bit dyslexic and always in a hurry because im at work.

The remixes must be fantastic. Do any of them rank up there with blt?
