Blackpool Scamps : Sept 1980

Does anyone know for sure who sang what? The recording is very good quality, but the vocals are pretty muddy.

My best guesses :

Dreams Never End (definitely Hooky), Truth (I'm pretty sure it's Barney), Mesh (Hooky with Steve on baccking vox near the end?), Homage (Steve?), Sister Ray (no vocals), Cries and Whispers (Steve?), Ceremony (definitely Steve)

I didn't see them until Retford in Jan 81 (flippin' cold night!) so I've always wondered what went on in the very early days.

Homage in Boston was Bernard with help from Hooky on the chorus. It's hard to tell if this is the case on the Blackpool recording.

Cries And Whispers would be Hooky.

I had another listen and the only ones I'm unsure about are Homage and C&W. They're either Barney or Steve, but it's not obvious.

Both Bernard and Hooky on both of them, alternating parts of the songs.

Cheers - I obv need to have another listen.

I reckon the version of Ceremony at this gig is the best I've ever heard.
