Someone on the ICB 25 years plus thread mentioned they were playing the Joy Division BBC sessions, so I cranked it up as well, cause it is a great idea!
Did Hannett have anything to do with the BBC production?
Can someone explain just how those sessions worked? How long does the band get to produce the 4 tracks? Do they use BBC engineers or could Hannett show up? Would Gretton run things, or was it BBC controlled???
Just wondering... cause I love the clear, no bull feel to these BBC tracks.... excellent stuff. hadn't heard them in awhile....
Thanks....
