"Poofs and a piano"? I didn't think it was too bad at all. Some nasty whoops, but not terrible. Not any worse than any live performance of it that you'd see. Ana looked good in it. :p Don't see what you're all btiching about. It sounds good live.

didn't think that was too bad at all,a bit shakey at first but then it came together alright

Honestly, it was quite ok, I don't see why people made such a big deal out of this.

The only "problem" I see is the stage setting.. it's so small they are all lined-up side by side like if they were Village People.

No place to move really...

But other than that, at least Hooky DID play some of the base line!

just watch it, i think it rocks! it sounds better than Canal+ version, it has Ana, and Barney is so damn funny. What you prefer, a dumb guy just standing straight as a soldier??

thanks again!!

A classic case of collective hysteria.

     ABSOLUTELY FOOKIN EXCELLENT!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: This is the best TV performance since, oooh, Blue Monday?! Celebration?! I mean, this is as mad as those early 80s performance, this is the New Order I love! How can you fail to adore this video? Bernard is absolutely fabulous: all the whoops in perfect time... J - E - T -- Whooop! and his dance is amazing, unbelievable he's reaching 50 in 8 months... Ana is not always perfect but shows she can have a good soul voice. The other are great because it's a honest performance, they don't mime anything. There's full of backing tracks, but at least you don't see Phil miming the keyboards anymore. He must have read the forum... ;) This performance is so full of wild energy and silly madness it's more punk than AJ Wells could ever guess...

if this is good I wonder what you guys class as bad - I don't buy all this the appeal of back in the eighties amateur shenanigans - its a poor, boring song which normally results in a poor, boring performance, which this was.

I thought it was fine. What's the big ado about this? Thought Barney looked great, the song sounded good. I have seen A LOT worse performances by NO!

Cheers, Veronica :D

Barney's got his old form back. He needs to enter a couple 5k races and see how he stacks up.

Why doesn't he just get a treadmill and he can work out and play a gig at the same time - kill two birds with one stone :shades:

I was completely shocked after seeing this performance...FINALLY. Shocked that anyone actually thought this was SOOO terrible. I quite enjoyed it to be honest and kept waiting for the embarrassing parts...its classic really...Barney having a bit if a random scream and yell...GET OVER IT PEOPLE...the performance was fine.

Woss was a good performance, and great to see them keeping it as live as they can. The other two appearances from that weekend make me realise how appalling it that most bands embark on a mime-a-thon to promote their product. I can see the benefit for bands who trade on their looks and image, of course, but hope that it is never the norm for Bernard and Co.

...all the better for not having to suffer 60 mins of Woss beforehand...
