I object! This thread isn't just about football! It's about pubs, and lasses, and hair washing, and ironing! Scandal!

It'd be wrong if I didn't mention that own goal Hanky. What a beauty....

Stuart Watkiss as gaffer as well - played against him when he was at Rushall Olympic bloody years ago before he went back into the league with Walsall. Hard bastard !

Pretty pleased they choose Skip as boss - he's the reason we doing well this year in my opinion. I used to rate him very highly as a player - had to retire at 30 after a nasty ankle injury. Had to give up any aspirations of my own as a player when i bust my achilles tendon at 16. Not that I was much cop anyway mind you.

Played against a few pro cricketers though..Sheriyar at Worcester being one of them ( a complete wanker), and actually played against johnathon Gould (Jock footy goalkeeper) at cricket as well. A right posh toff.

You ain't wrong about Sheri !!! I used to have choice of ends over Dean Headley when we were at school - he was 3 years younger than me though, which may have explained it !!

He's not playing tonight is he?

Must win for Liverpool I reckon. Should be an interesting (probably not good) game. Might as well give Fergie and his boys the title if they win

Did you see the mighty Bluenose army at Anfieldo in the Cup the other week?

Pity about the result though...but you do a very good match day programme.

Well my theory on why we don't beat the likes of Southampton is down to the intensity of playing against a top side. When you know the opposition has players who can punish sloppiness, concentration levels are maintained. You must also ask the question, Why have Man Utd PLc such an apalling record against the top sides this season. Seven defeats says to me anther two or three teams can get at them as well, the championship race should go all the way this year.:D
Another massive grin

Hope yer right about the league going down to the wire (cue Sid Wadell) but to be honest - tonight's game was definately a must win - for the scousers - UTD can go on and win their next 5or6 - and I honestly can't see the likes of Liverpool / Arse etc.. keeping up with them - hope I'm wrong - but it's not often I am mate:lol:
