I am trying to determine if using the distributed tracker on the new version of azureus will allow us to share gigs....even when whoever posted the file is offline. It would be cool....no one has to donate all their bandwidth for one thing, and for another we can't lose our resource cos the site got shut for havin metallica on it.
Below is a torrent as a technology test, it is of she's lost control from the NYC gig. It's bloody awful and features Barney's wonderful "ian only died" routine.

of course, my webserver might not want to give you the file, or maybe the distributed thingy won't work. Please, as many people as poss grab this, just to see what happens.
I know this should be in the gigs forum, but I need traffic to make the expt worthwhile...and this is where the masses throng.
BTW...copyright wise...no one owns the mechanical copyright to this recording....however the publishing rights of the work remain intact, therefor you MUST own a copy of SLC to be entitled to have this.
