I purchased my copy from JB HI-FI today for $4.99, would have been nice though to have a cd2 with the extra remixes!

I try not to eat at Maccas. I think we should all boycott them now that they've going to use NZ potatoes for their fries.

There used to be at least one more regular poster from Sydney, but most of us seem to be from Melbourne, Canberra, plus a couple from Adelaide & Perth.

Went to HMV in the city yesterday to pick this up and noticed that the Krafty single was going for $8.99, which includes only the single and album versions with no remixes - what a RIP-OFF!
I'm from Brisbane - just joined. Will get the single t'morrow. Not holding my breath for a NO tour date in Aus the way things are going.
Any Aussies know where I could get albums by the other two here in Aus? Did they ever get released here even?
yep i got my copy when it came out too... i don't think they should of released jet stream as a single since i don't think it's a very strong track... in fact the two singles released for the new album are least favorites on the album..
but i think when Waiting for the siren's call (the single)comes out it will do really well and i'll be more excited to buy that

They're on the same night as Interpol here in Adelaide. Typical. Good bands either bypass us completely or they come in a deluge. Interpol and the Doves in the same week - whoo hoo! I've seen the Go-Bs (current incarnation) a few times too and thoroughly recommend them.
I will definately look out for these gigs.
As for jetstream, i had no luck getting hold of it. Sanity are ordering it for me but warned it may take 2 weeks, WTF is that all about?, it's like being back in Cyprus again

Yeah they are brade27, the lady in Sanity said she liked my accent, but before I left, she didn't like it anymore!
Sanity are awful. Just terrible customer service. Jb are certainly better - but singles are a bit thin on the ground they mostly have albums. The Brisbane city HMV has about 20 copies of the Jetstream single, I imported version, and about three Krafty singles. Pretty good. All $5 - imported $8.
Got my copy from Sanity today. just waiting on the U-myx import now. WFTSC I think is the one from this bunch that will make more people sit up and take more notice I think, could(dare I say) get some airplay via some of the AC stations as well. It happened that way a bit with Regret.
What an Aussie convention this thread's turning out to be. They're really coming out of the woodwork. All we need now is for CTB to show up and everyone will bugger off.

True at least JB have New Order on the shelves inc singles when new. Half the Sanity shop here don't even stock No, and you have to order it in like Shergs has done.
So, is the Jetstream single worth getting? I am one of the sad, insane people who actually liked the album version.

I have to agree with CTB on this one. JB went and took over our one and only truly decent independant record shop. So there's not going to be any more special imports here in Canbera, and I have to go interstate for those. Hence I have a reason to hate them. I still shop there though.
BTW is this my most popular thread yet? Very strange.
BTW also look out for the Base Player mag featuring Hookey.
