Spotty, dude, I dunno whether to kiss you for posting this or hate you for waiting til I'd been accross "the line of death" [1]to transfer my nicam to mp3.

[1]the point in the room where my business stops and the machine's business beginsm I try never to enter as it always leads to disaster.

Well, if anyone has a better sounding version, I have no problem...

This is the "super high quality" webcast, recording with adobe audion recording the wave feed of my computer... sounds good, but there is sure a better option!

I just took a wee sniff of it there and it does sound WONDERFUL. I'll see what mine turns out like, but I doubt it will be any better.

A FOOKIN MASSIVE THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUU!!! :thumb:  I'm just downlading it and hearing here and there, I've already spotted a classic Barney moment:

OK, this is eeeer Krafty! No it's not! No it's not! No it's not! Hang on! I got it wrong! Hang on! It's Love Vigilantes!

And starts playing the melodica one beat earlier! It's the Barney we love!!! :thumb:

This is where I want to be HOU! And this is what I wanna do! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Fookin plenty of DELIGHTFUL whoops and whistles!!! I hope he's on this form when he comes to Turin! :thumb: Sounds like one of the best gigs of the recent years, not awful at all!!! PS: The sound quality is very good, almost like hearing a mixer recording, always better than audience boots... EDIT: The live version of Run Wild is absolutely excellent!!! EDIT2: Phil is a fooking great guitarist, nobody can deny it after hearing this concert!

Is that Dawn Zee doing the live background vocals on WFTSC? Much better than those tapes they used during the US tour.

Seems this went out to all detinations with a slight left/right imbalance. I corrected mine by turning off the stereo link function during normalization. Apart from that tho, I wouldn't say that what I capped off sky is any better than yours Spotnick.

Andy I'd seek it for you, but unfortunately all the ports for SS are forwarded to my linux machine, and my usual SS client is sulking. IF no one else bails you, i can try an alternate client I suppose.

Great stuff cheers Nick:thumb: .Now ive got to burn it to CD but the gig is 90 or so minutes and the CD will only take 80 minutes.Gonna have to ommit a couple of songs:banghead: .Which will it be?:confused2: Looks like its gonna be Pisstream and... .How can i get the whole 90 minutes on one disc?.I`m not too clued up on things like this .Can anybody solve the dilemma for me?.Cheers:thumb: 2 discs of 45 minutes?

Jesus its bloody hard keeping up this weekend.Ive got loads of Glastonbury stuff still to watch that i had to tape last night (White Stripes,Doves etc..) because i was at the Hyde Park mosh madness and there`s the Order at Glasto tonight to watch/record off BBC3 with a crate full of beer from the comfort of the great armchair (not as good as being there obviously).New Order OD:nuts:

Yup, thanks for that Nic.

It was a really good gig and a great chance to meet up with a few of the people who post here :)

Looking forward to the Glastonbury stuff on TV/Radio later this evening. Hope that NOOLers at Glastonbury don't have too many problems with the floods, etc. :thumb:

Energy of the band, responding to the enthusiastic public... I hope we'll all be able to see it soon on an official DVD !

Thanks alot - sound is excellent.

I thought the gig last night was heavin'. It was really great to meet up with some of you guys in the Audley - Shug, John, Lorraine, Stockholm Monster, Jake, Simon Reorder guys and the Geordie boys - Ian & John.

What's this panto horse all about? I had heard that they would be doing a JD set at Glasto. I think I have managed to reoord most of the Glasto gig via various BBC channels -that's worth the tv licence alone.

For those trying to fit the 90 minute Hyde Park gig onto an 80 minute CDR, the 15 tracks only added up to 85 minutes or so when I strung them all together in Wavelab, so you only need to edit out 5 minutes. I've just managed it by cutting out a lot of the long gaps between some of the songs where all you can hear is the audience waiting for the next song, and also some of the more inane chatter from Barney. There were half a dozen or more long pauses of over 30 seconds, so there's a few minutes gone. I've maintained every second of music (natch!), bits of Barney between songs, and a decent duration of audience applause between each song, resulting in a seamless disc of 79.59 duration! So it can be done. Just make sure you edit out the XFM announcements, apart from the one over the top of Transmission (I think), which I nearly e-mailed them to complain about. Station stings between tracks is fine, but to do one over the music isn't really on.

You can burn a 90 min CD if your burner accept them.

Use Nero Burning Rom, adjust overburning to 90 min, allow overburning in options, and burn the CD in "disc at once" mode.

You'll get a message announcing overburning and asking you to confirm, then "just say yes"... :D

Another way round the 90 minute problem.

And it's radical, to say the least.

Use TWO discs...

What does Hooky say before LWTUA? He sounded pissed off.

Thanx Spotnick. I've downloaded the first four tracks, only 11 to go, i really need to get broadband.

I have so far downloaded tracks 1-9 and track 11 on my crappy little dial-up connection, 5 to go. I will save my comments on the gig until i have downloaded all of it.
