Just spotted him at Glasto nodding along to the Bunnymen who are playing in front of a class Liverpool flag.

Saw the flag too, didn't notice him... half the screen was obscured by the damn OpenTV interface...

The cameraman picked out Liam in his viking helmet, his face filled the screen and then camera panned away, JG was stood next to him.

Indeed, him and Liam came to collect me, Alex and Col by the Left Field tent, laden down with all our gear (poor Col's struggling with a crate of LIAM's beer he'd picked up for him, and Col's got a bad shoulder) ... and they marched us through the festival mud to the ... tent? No! ... to the front of the bloody Bunnymen! Alex was happy but me and Col were, like, what the FCUK, we want the tent instead! So we sodded off without our guides and promptly got lost for an hour before eventually running into pompeyorder and Wolfram, and our tent, a good hour or more later. Not happy at the time!!!

So you actually stayed at Glasto?....I was guessing it would be a "get in and get the fuck back out sharpish" type arrangement. Until they invent a festival with an on-site hotel and helicopter transfers from somewhere within 10 minutes of my house I'm not interested.

Nearly fell of my seat when I saw JG on the telly though. That's a 100,000 to 1 shot right?

Wolfram shot straight off, but we stuck it out till today in the end.

You b@st@rds :D

For the record, I changed my T-shirt, boxers and socks, swapped my long shorts for jeans and trainers for wellies. So, the only item remaining the same, excluding my specs, was the green shirt. Guess that was the bit of me you could most easily see.

Couldn't believe it when my phone started going mad during the gig. Had about 6 or 7 people telling me the same thing - you're on TV !.

I guess those lovely shiny new trainers were anything but after Hyde Park...
