Just to let anyone know who is around that doesn't fancy Live 8 or isn't seeing Oasis - we are playing this Sat (2nd Jul) at The Rock Cafe 2000 in Stourbridge, Birmingham.

We are supporting The Clone Roses (Stone Roses) Tribute so we will be on slightly earlier this time, I reckon probably about 8ish.

Also hats off to everyone I spoke to at the Hyde Park gig, really had a fantastic time meeting everyone and thought the Order were awesome, still nursing my wounds from being down the front!

For those who did miss it (especially those who preferred Live8) twas a brilliant gig. I don't think I have heard the boys sounding better. Here to Stay in the (public) soundcheck was a special treat.

I suppose those who were "making do" with the real thing in Turin had a valid excuse for not being there.

Oh, and the band do requests as well, contrary to what they may say - you just have to wait a few months for them to get around to it.

uncanny that! coming from a new order tribute band. there's always going to be bisecting circles in the venn diagram of setlists, and that crossover point is going to be proportionally bigger when you take into account the reduced running time (1hr), the venue and the fact that half to two-thirds of the audience have come to see 'the clone roses' and will only recognise/appreciate the more familiar material. we've played 47 different songs over 18 gigs now. that's a fair few more than the re: alorder have been offering up. that ridiculous ratio gives us the opportunity to throw in a few surprises and personal favourites to extended sets and over time it has pointed up a few clues as to what songs do and don't work in certain environments. funnily enough, the songs that tend to reappear in our setlist most are the ones that the audience have shown themselves to enjoy most.

anyway, let's share a pint and discuss our dream setlists on friday!

Haha, I love Re:order but I thought they'd do more variety especially after seeing them on 19th May. :evil4: I'll be at the Digital gig Friday, I think that's what you're referring to. Hopefully I'll have some spare whisky for then, I hate beer. :D
