Hey Canadians,

Is anyone here anything to do with the 'homemade' New Order Anthology that was 4 CDRs of MP3s from 1997? Anthology Parts 1,2 and 3 and then one called The Rarest of New Order. They are quite funny to look at considering how much technology has changed but they were very schmick looking for the time... I remember having to explain MP3s to people back then.

Anyway, they say "Made in Quebec" on the back and were bought online but don't know who from, they were a gift.

Just wondering if there's any connection because I have been enjoying them all over again recently.

Of course... I did them...

I stopped the minute I learned about Recycle and that New Order were coming back. The idea was to put only out of print material on those, and this was true up to Retro...

Today it's a bit obsolete then...

I asked about this on another forum on this site, I wanted to get it in 1997, but i was a poor student at the time, how i wish i had managed to get the cash together somehow. as far as i am concerned it was the most complete collection or new order and side project hard to find material. if anyone has any info about existing copies then please get in touch.

I believe you need to contact Lars Nellemann at nellemann@cool.dk then, he took over and did Antology Vol 4 to 10...

For the record, at the time we also made The Cure Anthology Vol. 1 (Volume 2 exists only in two copies!).

They looked great and were quite innovative for the time...
