Sorry if this has been done before. My two choices are from the same single, Ceremony (especially the "watching forever.." bit) and IALP.

the last minute or so of regret, SLC, the end of TPK (watching it in the video--love it!).

Perfect Kiss the Village Someone Like You Waiting For the sirens' call Deadbeat

I can't think of many of Revenge's song titles, but I love a lot of those bass lines too!

The JD stuff is pretty catchy...like "Transmission."

The run-out bassline on the end of Fine Time, where the sheep are bleating, makes pleasant listening.

I really like what he did slap-bang in the middle of the Gewn Stefani thing recently too.

And the opening of WDYWFM is up there with Age of Consent!

All in all, TPK.

There are too many 'honorouble mentions' to list them here - you've all heard them and know what they are.

I have to admit that my mobile answerphone message starts with the opening bass riff from WDYWFM though ;)

Difficult to pick just one: Age of Consent, end of BLT, end of Subculture, Waiting for the sirens call...

Regret. Especially the solo middle eight bit. And the alternative last minute that he always does live. Totally different from the recorded version.

Confusion!

and a lot of the stuff on One True Passion v.2.

Hooky's bass lines could have done with a higher volume level on the current album...

"End of the world" on Monaco's second album is pretty amazing... not the best song, but the bass solo in it is simply gooooooood!

I know, I know, look - i never liked the lowlife version - it finishes just as it feels like it should be getting started & then its followed by 2 far better songs IMHO in PFD & Sunrise.
On the other hand those last 3 minutes on the 12" are pure class - the whole lot feels perfect together & Hooky's bass is the best part of it

No-one's mentioned Face Up?

YSF is great as is AIIWIW, Sunrise and more recently GIAUE Mac Quayle version!

Favourite is / always will be AGE OF CONSENT

If only they'd play the bastard at T in the Park, I'd even sacrifice Temptation to hear it just one more time!!!
