Interesting point from Chris about how a lot of the new stuff will sound like classics in a few years. I'm inclined to agree although I thought that about a few of the songs from Get Ready. Apart from Crystal, listening to that album now I'm not so sure, maybe it was because it was just great to get a new album from them.

I reckon it won't be the case with the best tunes from WFTSC.

Crystal is my favourite NO song, probably, but I'd say WFTSC is an instant classic. God damn good stuff!

I really like waiting and krafty as well as player in the league, but I have to say that most NO tunes have a vintage age that shows their true potential. Right now all the NO fans have had all these expectations that the current music should be revolutionary like their previous stuff, but the fact is is that NO are really writing from the same vein, its just the alternatives are too diverse really to be so different from NO.

TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN ! According to me, this is THE very last great NO song. But I must admit that this song is challenged by "Here to stay"...

The 'last' great NO song is the next one! WFTSC sends shivers down my spine and deserves to be ranked as what I would call a 'modern' NO classic, along with Regret & Crystal. I'm hoping that one day, someone will not only explain the meaning of life to me (not the Monty Python movie), as well as the reason for WFTSC not being the first or second single released off the album. I dont get all this crap about WFTSC being a classic in years to come. Regret was instantly gripping. I dont need to play a song a million times over five years to work out if its good or not. Its not rocket science. You either like it or you dont. I loved Get Ready in 2001 and I love it now. Nothing in five years will make me change my mind about WFTSC. Its an ok album.

Off the new album I'd say Turn and Krafty were probably the best but they're not great, they're just nice. The last great NO song would hav to be Here To Stay, shame they don't do it live really

i'm the only one to think TURN is the most generic song on the new album.

WFTSC is wonderful. It's the best traveling song ever, it was my soundtrack for Turin and it will remain my traveling soundtrack forever (unless they make an even better one). I loved it in Turin, especially because it was a beautiful stary night. I keep humming it wherever I go.

Here to Stay, but then Guilt is a Useless Emotion is just as good.

WFTSC(song) is a great NO song, but the only one on the album, crystal was the only great one on Get Ready. RTS sadly makes that the worst NO album ever...

I think 'WFTSC' and 'Turn' are both 'great' so they would be the last two in my opinion. I agree that 'Crystal' was probably the only 'great' song on Get Ready, although from a personal point of view I actually prefer 'Primitive Notion'. Whilst 'Rock the Shack' wasn't one of my favourites on Get Ready I don't think a dislike of one song can make it their worst album ever. I'm not fussed on 'Jetstream' but I still think WFTSC is a superb album.

In general though, there are loads of NO songs that we may not regard as great by their own high standards but they are, nevertheless, a lot stronger than some of the trash out there.
