Two questions:

Is it just me or is Steve looking bored as f**k these days? And is Gillian still following the band? i mean i remember reading somewhere on this forum that she was at glastonbury?? any words on that?

Gillian's married to the drummer, so you'd think she'd try and keep up with what he's up to in his day-job. But did you mean 'follow' as in 'take an interest' or as in 'actively' 'follow' the band on tour? If it's the latter, then yes, she was certainly in Dublin with the kids this weekend. Few of us saw her in a hotel bar Monday lunchtime.

I was just thinking the opposite, Steve has been making the most of his LWTUA solos, and on the recent TV footage he has been seen to smile quite broadly at the end of songs!

Steve's never joined in with the banter before as much as he does these days. True, he doesn't say anything on stage, but his drum rolls in acknowledgement of some Bernard quip are something new. I think they are all enjoying themselves, I don't think we can read too much into occasional Hooky withering glares to his right when Bernard is dicking about with his dancing or when Phil is trying to be a rock star.

steve looks bored!!!,nowt new there then eh. lets face it we get enough antics from bph if steve decided to be a keith moon it would be almost too much wouldnt it. mind u it must take all of his concentration doing an impression of a human drum machine.

I'd like to see Steve come out of his shell and be more like Tommy Lee - shirt off, hair all fucked up, standing up while drumming, and whipping out big Jim and the Twins for the crowd during Temptation.

Is that too much to ask? :shrug:

I think that might be asking a tad too much!

Did anyone have a few words with Gillian in Dublin? Personally I would be a bit stuck for something to say as everything sounds so naff. We still don't know how she feels about not recording and touring with them, the actual playing live experience, the clubs etc but then she has their kids to think of and she achieved a lot as a member for over twenty years.

Steve puts a lot into his performance and is a greatly physical drummer. I don't think he's bored so much as concentrating at getting it right first time.

:abovelol: Fortunatly Steve is a human drum machine second only(maybes.. its close) to Reni,and Tommy Lee is the shits of a drummer,with a big..ish knob and way too many tatts.I will take Stevie"machine gun" Morris anyday over said Motley Crew tosser...I don't think he looks bored either.He has always had a dry understated way with him,until he plays them drums and he is tuned in and rocking the gaff.No way is he bored,he will be loving it....thinking how many more tanks can I buy with the lolly from the festivals..."I'm making my own Panza regiment, you know..."Weirdo :laugh: ...Nah,each to their own..Always comes across as a good guy..hell of a drummer :bow2:
