Phones Reality must die!

It's Track No. 14 on WFTSC Japanese Disc, not that bad really and this coming from a person who's not that fond of remixes. It's got some weird effects, something Madonna would probably use :D
I remember hearing that mix awhile back and not being particularly fond of it while others were raving about it.
I'd have to revisit it for another listen though.
I think that the mix is ok, different yes, some confusion (but some new order do get a bit messy). I like it more the Riton Re-Dub (which I hate the choice of vocal samples, "Violence, Violence, Violence, Wars and Violence" kind of dumb and pointless. But in the end I think the krafty mixes have something good to each of them, even if some are more bland. there just remixes, can't beat the original! Ah, krafty ![]()
I think s'ok - just thanking God that the remixes now sound something like the original song - some of the remixes on the Republic CD singles were virtually unrecognisable!
Phones Reality mix is killer, especially loud, mixed in a set of other like minded tunes.
Listen kids, remixes are for club play and dancing, not for your fat ass to listen to while surfing the web.

Then what's the point of buying the single? ![]()

depends. the point for me (and you) is to have it in the collection. i also bought it so i'd have a high quality copy to mix with Traktor DJ Studio 2.6. if you don't like mixes and you aren't a completist, then there's no point in buying the single.
Not entirely... I know I'll never hear those remixes in clubs over here... so the point is variety, I like to enjoy many version of the same songs.
The Felix Da Housecat remix of Here To Stay is always on heavy rotation on my iPod... as is several others.
Now people are talking about the Glimmers mix? Shee... put "Extended Version" instead of Glimmers Remix and nobody would complain.
For me, I want extended versions of songs, and those one did it! and I really enjoy the Phones Reality remix... it gives balls to the song.
Keep him alive & let him remix summat else, 'phat' remixes help shake older arses, even while listening in car on way to work :D
