Temptation.
I would like Ceremony to be a permenant fixture on the setlist..Its been a while since they played it..and it's one of their best songs,if not theee best!!I live for it,and they won't play the bastard anymore:(
i wish they could play some old ones from after joy division like denial or icb which are good ones![]()

Join the club Kyle!
Anyway, always nice to see new people around here. Hope you stay a while! ![]()
I love the E.G.G./Temptation segue from... Barcelona 84! Haven't listened to it for a while but the recording is so clear and Bernard's in great form.
Love Vigilantes, the opener from Chicago, and sold me that New Order is the greatest band ever.
For me it's the version of Paradise from '98 gigs. (also on the "In session" cd). Really lifts the album version to a different level and perfectly captures everything that is good about New Order.

Mine too, he can't keep in tune on it though, which makes it even more appealing.
Recently, would say LWTUA due to audience reaction and the Hooky, Steve spectacle.
Depends what you want it for. Getting the front rows up and moving would have to be something like Sunrise or Age of Consent. Novelty value would have to be something like ICB (though it ain't a boogier!).
Overall oldmonkey favourite live song though will always be the mighty Perfect Kiss.
Always want to hear Sunrise and Vanishing Point but the original Perfect Kiss was excellent.
These days I'd say Crystal and Temptation.
Of the current tranche: Crystal, Love Vigilantes, Transmission, Temptation. Ones I'd love to see back: Sunrise, Face Up, Age of Consent, Dreams Never End, Perfect Kiss and, most of all, Ceremony.
I am a virgin to this. Be gentle. Have to say I loved the chaotic dance madness of 'Fine Time', Reading '89. The Mancs in the crowd went wild. That, or "Atmosphere' at Ally Pally NYE '98/'99. Such a shock to hear Joy Division. Nice lightshow, too.
For visuals it may be Elegia @ Macc '85
Why did Barney smash up his guitar anyway?
Also at Macc '85 when Hooky launched his bass into a Moston lads face.
