Just got finished watching this...not sure if its been mentioned before...but there was a nice bit about NO in there when the guys are throwing LPs at zombies trying to hit 'em in the head.

The one guy says "you cant throw that one...its Blue Monday"...other guy says "so??"...first guy says "its an original pressing!"...other guy says "oh yeah right, ok"

then they go on to throw dire straits and other bands at the zombies...good stuff.

which poses the question: would you risk your life to save an original FAC release?

probably not state of the nation.

Funny, the same happened to me, and I don't think many people in the cinema got it... But who cares? Anyway, I can testify, he really throws the f***ing collector thing at Zombies! :blackeye:

Yeah I had a chuckle when I saw the copy of Blue Monday bite the dust thanks to a zombie. The "Awww, that was an original pressing!" was great also :D As for the film, I bought the DVD as part of a "3 for £20" at HMV to kill a boring weekend and it probably fulfilled its purpose (along with Scarface and Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels). Trouble is, it's one of those films you watch once, then forget about and never watch again

I like The Stone Roses Second Coming too!

If I happened for some reason to have lost enough sanity to purchase the Shellshock 12 inch, I would then have gladly thrown it at a zombie to recoup my losses. But yes, everything other than that with a FAC number on it would have been off-limits. :evil4:

This was on Cinemax earlier tonight, but I didn't feel like sitting through a movie just then (any movie, really. Just got off work and wanted some mindless tv sitcom garbage. Enter first-season episodes from "Friends" on TBS :p ). I'll have to rent it, though, because Bill Nighy's in it :thumb:

Spaced is one of the top five greatest tv shows of all time. I bought two region 1 bootlegs off ebay. Great stuff. I actually bought a Phillips dvd player so I can hack it in order to buy the Spaced special edition 3 dvd set. Oh yess.

In Shaun he throws the Blue Monday to which Shaun replies "that was an original pressing!" and Ed says "Bloody hell." They don't throw Stone Roses 'Second Coming' because Shaun says "I liked it."
