I'd love to hear Turn The Heater On, although I only think it was for the Peel Session.

I would enjoy hearing something like the village, or anything from the 81-82 EP or PCL.

I voted As It Is When It Was.

Probably in the top 2 best tracks from Brotherhood for me and always curiously sounded better live than on record (Pumped Full Of Drugs + Reading '93 good examples) It would be smart if they resurrected that one

A bass heavy version of 586 would be great.

Age Of Consent please.

And plenty of Whoas/whoops from Barney at the appropriate places.

Hurt, the Village or thieves. Nice if they could dust off a real oldie like Truth, though can't ever see them doing anything off that album now.

This Time of Night/Subculture/Face Up

Something from the Low Life period that will get us "synthheads" dancing like mad.

defo gotta be Procession or Leave me alone.

not sure if Barney got the voice now for those two though.

Of those, probably only World exists in a usable format these days, and is written in a key he can sing. There are plenty of others I would rather see back though!

Vanishing point has a lot of appeal for me. Think it would flow well with the setlists as of late.

Christ almighty, why don't we all slag the arse off Barney's voice...

Why don't we compare how it is now versus Taras Schvenko, for example??

I think he's great, I love his voice and it suits what he sings...has done for the last 20 years that I've been listening to them.

Subculture, by the way... ;)

"Age of consent", if that doesn't mean that "Your silent face" is thrown out.

I went for AOC, but if I had to choose something other than the list I'd go for Ceremony. I've been listening to the Substance version a lot lately, I just love that song and I'm not sure that NO do it too much lately (of course, I weigh 600 pounds and can't travel to the shows, so they may very well have revived it anyway :jump: )

Put yer catapult away. One of the reasons they don't do the old songs is because he struggled to sing them back then, and when they discovered it was possible to write songs in a key that suited his voice there was no need to go back to the old ones. Little things like changing the key of older songs to suit them seems to have escaped them (besides LWTUA).

Or maybe his voice just matured...

Also Confusion (1983) and Weirdo

No question: AOC from that list.

Other: Vanishing Point or Ceremony

confusion would also be nice

Hurt and AOC are the obvious choices, but it'd be hard to beat having Hooky sing Dreams Never End!
