Chat With New Order

I thought this might be of interest to everyone in here. As part of the Big Day Out there is always an online chat with some of the bands. This year its starting at 2pm on the 28 of Jan. It doesn't say what exact time NO will be on though.

Hey, Mitch...i've heard that New Order will be in store at Gaslight on 30th Jan or 29th Jan..can't remember...

Better check this out, mate....if only Syneysiders are this lucky....

There is also a signing NO is going to do in Melbourne. They will be signing whatever you have from 4pm at Gaslight Records (On Bourke Street, across the road from the Metro) in Melbourne on the 30th January. Anyone keen on seeing their idols up close should get there early or miss out all together!!!!!!

If this is true - It would be great if somebody from over there could get me a signed album...believe me, I'd make it worth yer while ;)

I was thinking about taking down the internal sleeves of Technique to be signed, as well as anything else i have!!!! I should be getting a copy of Substance 87 on vinyl by then, a straight swap with someone from work, Thriller (MJ) for Substance. I reckon it is a good deal

Will NO be doing any signings or public appearances in Sydney?

Hope so.....or we'll ring every hotel in Sydney for occupants between 22nd Jan. to 27th Jan.....

i wish i had a shirt i could get signed, ill have to settle with my other stuff. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when i dump about 10 cds and 15 vinyls on the table and go, "erm hi, can you sign this stuff?"

Will they be selling NO merchandise at the concert?

I would imagine so, every concert ive ever been to there has always been shirts and that sold, not to mention the "official" shirts sold outside by guys on the street. And there is always a big merchandise store at the Big Day Out selling stuff from every band.

I interested to see if any Bootleg CD's of NO in concert will be available at the Horden Show ... anyone know?

Probably not from the official tour merchandise stall but look around outside the gig for the entreprenuers, they might have the stuff you are looking for

Cool, so I look for the shady guy with the long trenchcoat and when it opens contains racks of NO Bootlegs. ;)
