Anyone still have the scans of A History in Cuttings? I'd greatly appreciate them for some research I am doing. Thankie!

Exactly what it says on the tin...

Two unofficial books made of photocopied press cuttings covering JD and NO from the start up until the mid 80's.
Some kind hearted, witty, intelligent onliner spent days meticulously scanning each page loving for the community to enjoy.
Actually, that's a lie. I just bunged them in the automatic copying machine at work and two minutes later out popped a pdf file...

Thank you, much appreciated, looking forward to checking it out. I wonder if it will have the Select Magazine feature from 1993? Love that one.
Thank you very much for sharing this bit of history! I had no idea this existed until today.
Something that should also be mentioned is that these 'books' of cuttings used to change hands for up to £15 a go and they're just a bunch of photocopies.
They are, however, photocopies of cuttings that would interest everyone here. Old Blue has kindly saved most of us up to 30 quid - a very big thank you! (I already had them, but electronic copies are a bonus!) it saves many people getting ripped off on Ebay and other sites. ![]()

Same here. Cheers again OldBlue for this, still can't believe that I found both editions out here when they came out.

You're kidding! I'm surprised people would be willing to pay that much for them. We are lucky to be getting them for free then. Just downloaded volume one and there is a hell of a lot of stuff to read. I've only ever seen a handful of these reviews before so i'll be spending all weekend reading them. Thank you Old Blue.
Just finished downloading volume two. I never realised New Order did so many interviews. I always thought they avoided them like the plague.
