Run Wild (Steve Osbourne original mix)

Why oh why did they dump this version from the album? With the subtle synth backgrounds it's a hell of a lot more cohesive with the rest of the album (I burned a version replacing the stripped-down rendition), sounding more like a proper closer rather than a bonus b-side track. The synthesized sounds lend it a very dreamy air, instead of the somewhat flat attempt at a folk sound on the album track.

It's not going to change your mind if you already loathe the track, especially for those not fond of Dawn Zee's "warbling". It's definitely not one of my favorite songs but I'll dare to say I like this take on it.

I guess it's a question of taste. Personally I like the one on the album. Rounds it off quite nicely for me.

I like both - i tend to play them one-after-the-other

Interesting how so few simple changes alter the mood of the track - from simple guitar ballad to almost a techno chill-out. The bass and melodica are the same on both versions, and they are the best parts for me.

It's definatley one of my favourite songs of all time, although I'd admit that this has as much to do with associations the track has for me as actual technical merit.

Love both versions, glad to have them!

The live version is the best

Osbournes better - more depth.

I enjoy the fade in on the Osbourne original, as it works well with the album, but I like the finality of the album version.

I really like both versions and it is a superb song either, i love it.
