Does anyone here have any classic New Order vinyl they'd like to whip out and share with the group?
What tracks are so far available only on those black things with the grooves in them?
And, in a somewhat unrelated note (although the records do have some different graphics from the CDs), what the $@#& happened from Spooky to True Faith 94 to Nineteen63? Was that Saville?
I got Low-Life, Closer, and Movement on vinyl (Closer is a French import version, while Movement is Spanish), and I got TF and TBTHOG on 7 inch, as well as 1981-1982 Ep on 12 inch. Does that make your day? :D
Well, the 81-82 EP has me a bit aroused, and I have to admit I'm a little curious...I've never done a New Order seven-incher before.
Come to think of it, I've never seen a seven-incher of New Order...how quaint and old-fashioned. I did have a funky-ass ten-inch oddity from Oingo Boingo way back when. The first 12" single I ever bought (wow...what's this then? An ex-ten-ded re-mix...what's that?) was Depeche Mode's "Everything Counts."
I got into New Order back in 85...my buddy's brother made him a cassette of all his NO vinyl (all sweet, beautiful original pressings of Blue Monday, Perfect Kiss...I wonder if he locks his doors at night?).
Feel free to send me the original die-cut Blue Monday vinyl if any of you don't want yours anymore.

Well...I had a 7" of New Order that got lost in a move years ago....it was an Italian or Spainish import...and I can't even remember what it was...one of the old singles...I'm thinkin it may have been confusion...but can't really recall for sure...

i have the 7inch for Atmosphere and Temptation-
original version and they sound horrible

i've located 2 of the worst neworder singles of all time on 7" here in seattle. State of the Nation (nice sleeve) and World in Motion in addition to the interview 7" in the same store. not worth the $14 bucks they want but they are Factory issue.
