Went with a mate to T In The Park in July 05 i went off to watch doves and my mate went to watch keane(oh dear!) left the doves set with 10 mins to go to get a good spot at front for Neworder whilst unknown to me my mate came into the doves tent for the last 10 mins cos keane were SH.TE..and lo and behold he just happened to be standing next to Hooky watching the Doves - he said hello shook his hand and exchanged pleasantries about Doves and New order...I WAS A BIT CHOKED TO SAY THE LEAST..on top of that missed the "signing tent with Neworder minus Barney" just saw hooky and morris signing some autographs for the handicapped through a mesh fence!!

doing some work at in the city seminars in manchester holiday inn (92/93 not sure which) -
hooky getting very friendly with a grolsch promotions girl i'd already gotten to know.
she gave me beer. they left together. it was the last i saw of either....

Although I must say, I state it only in thread like this, but to be honest, it didn't change my life and it wasn't an almost spiritual experience
I was just... nervous, because I didn't want to look stupid or look too much like a fan, and I know WenOrder was even more nevous than I was. In my mind, those people had their share of meeting crazy fans over the year, so I tried to make it look like it wasn't too much of a big deal ;)
Sure thing is, they are all good person. Can't say much about Steve though, he wasn't backstage, he fly right through the hotel lobby, so we never hard any change to chat.. however I did not chat with Hooky neither, that's what Kamar did.
But it's always a question like... ok, you have them just in front of you.. what do you say to them to don't look stupid and don't think I do this website because I am a crazy fan that even posses dolls about them
Hopefuly, I think I managed to keep it sane... ;) especially for the total lack of sleep I had in those days.

in an interview they asked hooky if at hyde park,new order where going to let doves into the crowd like stones did years back.hooky said "yea,but were going to let doves the group into crowd to spread peace and harmony"
by the way,my girlfriend got signed new order photo at t in park while i conversioned with al jarvis and other noolers.we managed to see doves in tent also--thats harmony to me
