thats so rude! i hope its not true

"Don`t break ya back Gillian" Bernard, sarcastically, at Zurich Volkshaus 04/84

B was very out of order with this comment which was towards Gillian apparantly being slow sorting some piece of equipment out.New Order are not the same with Phil. But ,you know ,shit happens.Life aint always how you want it.End of

Yeah, get her back in the fold. She`s still a babe. When I was young I would only date girls who looked like Gillian..... difficult times for me, the eighties.

as for phil, the new guy at school always gets scrutinized (at best) and stuffed into lockers (at worst). at least the band found some way to make it work; it may not be ideal, but they're still together, still making music, and still touring (hopefully at least one more time).

at least they've managed to keep the same drummer all these years. that's a pretty extraordinary feat!

This has to be the most considered and sensible post I've ever read on here... What the hell's happening!?!

What, you mean she used to stop him dancing?

well id love to see gillian back up on stage and in studio as well with the band as i do think she contributed to the music we have all loved over the past 20 odd years(ie: helping to keep mr sumner under control ect). that said id like to see phil left in as well as he has ceratinly added some long needed pazaaaz to new orders guitar playing, not that barns not up to it but live he struggles to play and sing which he freely admits. it would be nice to see gillian free phil up from keyboard and allow him to take heat of barney who even finds it hard to remember the words (autocue?). and leave dawn zee i as backing vocals along with gillian. if i ever went to a gig or heard an album with that line up id die a happy man.

you fail to see what gillian brings to the party eh? well have you listened to bizarre love triangle string section recently off the brotherhood album? and that was back in 1986. she definately brought fine time to the party as well back in 1989.

bondy 05.

keep on keeping on.

Yeah you only have to listen to The Other Two & You,and Superhighways to hear what she brings to the sound of NO.Hopefully when the little mites are grown up,she may reconsider.

It aint happening folks- her children need her more than we do. NO can get by without her - just a different sound -but still NO

I want her back, too! If it was possible, of course. Since they wanted Phil on, let it be that way. Although I still don't think Phil should have been added as a full member of the band - he could be just as Dawn Zee, just helping doing his parts onstage. But they wanted it that way, so let him stay.

Hello. :thumb: (aaack! gay smiley)

Phil's just been boring me with his "I LUV 2 PLAY GITTAR SO THATS ALL I WILL DO" crap, so my outlook is now one hell of a lot less nice...!
