Is Saville into football? I can't see him caring about anything but design and women.

I think if he were really so into money, he wouldn't be so clueless about it! Although I suspect a bit of myth-making. I mean, if you're selling CDs for food money, but still staying at the Sunset Marquee, well...

Personally, I rather like Tony H. Cunt, he amuses me no end, and underneath all his pretentious cambridge airs and graces, he does, passionately believe in music. Without him, and factory, New Order would be either a crappy top 40 pop act, or working in tesco. And I totally prefer the fact that factory didn't force them to do shit they didn't want to, or force them to mime on tv, or any of the other major label wank AOL Time Warner make them do. Mind you, they're still new order, so I suppose I should relish the fact that they give some AOLTW-suitcunt near terminal heartburn.

I always believed wholeheartdely in the factory principle, that everything is secondary to the music and the musicians. it's probably why I never make much money and upset more people than I entertain :)

I'm so disgusted by the attitude towards tony that is constantly displayed by most New Order fans, that I often feel like writing to him, just to tell him that SOME of us understand that factory was part of what made NO, well, made them NO. New Order's own hosility towards him is down to the hacienda (which as he says, makes them seem a lot cooler than the bunch of old gits they really are, AND was VITAL to the developement of music in this country....and of course from the factory offices and that fooking table..;..which if you ask me, they have every right to be miffed about. BUT NO are not blameless....HOW many months did they spend in Ibiza, staying in cool hotels and having an expensive studio on a block booking the whole time? ANd they came back with.....some drum tracks and a bit of keyboard programming....why? cos Steve was the only one who's not a total sun worshipper. Sort of a scene setter for "Shaun's Caribean adventure".

PS, most united fans are like most ferrari(or rather schu) fans ( the schufosi scum as they are affectionately known)....clueless, dressed in red, utterly uncaring for their sport and only out to support the winners, when MUFC or the prancin pony fuck up, their numbers dwindle rapidly. of course, I know there are ppl here from manc who have been following them their whole lives, they are not referred to in the above rant. As for me, I don't do footie, but I was a ferrari fan until Austria 2002, when I destroyed all my posters and swore them as my enemy.

Luckily I was brought up in Warrington mainly, so I was following Rugby whilst the world domination of Man Utd. was being planned...

Don't follow either now, so couldn't care less what anyone says about either sport...

Saville's best days are behind him, but I wouldn't want to see him go as he's an important part of the band.

I admire Wilson for what he managed to achieve; OK, he was a bit lost of plot at times, but overall no Wilson would have equalled no JD/NO.

This is about Manchester - the home of all things great ( well, quite a few of them anyway ). If we are talking about Manchester then remember that a true Mancunian is a blue ( Man City for the non-locals ). Nuff said

think i'd rather actually watch Utd, than watch a car race. Although, not at old Trafford - its like a graveyard these days with the suited-up prawn butty eaters.
