just wondering how many here are 'proper' footy fans and how many are 'armchair' fans?

I've been going to 'a certain club' since '82 and am a season ticket holder.

I've been to fair few grounds that other lads here support, Blackburn, Goodison (without smashing windows ) although it's getting too bloody dear these days so I dont bother with aways anymore. Hopefully off to Lisbon in Decemeber (euro aways are worth it) but in retrospect I'd have rather gone to New Order there instead.

Since becoming a mid-thitysomething I'm finding that football crowds are full of knobs (yes I'm including away fans before you quip!)

Anyway, bring on the Aussies!!!!
