Jetstream drops to number 4 on Billboard dance chart

After holding number 3 spot for two weeks

Since this is the dance chart, I assume it's the remixes.

can any of our american cousins tell us whether Jetstream made it on to the main Billboard chart?

Not necessarily as it doesn't specify what remix on the chart.

Since it's based on club play, I think it's reasonable to assume it's the remixes. I can't imagine the album version, or radio edit, being played in a club.

I am pretty sure that 'Jetstream' did not make it into the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Have you been to America lately? It's a fucking pop culture factory. The only thing that charts is hip-hop, r&b, country, cock rock and bubble-gum punk and the worst pop music this side of the Atlantic.

When discussing the Billboard Club Play chart, it's ALWAYS about the remixes. The regular version of 'Jetstream' would never chart there. The best New Order have done in America lately was chart in Electronic Album sales and in Dance Maxi-Singles sales (for both 'Krafty' and 'Jetstream'), both of which I believe they made it pretty high.

I think the last time New Order ever made it into the Billboard Hot 100 was back in late-1993 when 'World (The Price of Love)' charted, though I couldn't tell you what number they made it to. I think 'Regret' made it to, like, #26 or something. Maybe not even THAT high.
