Barney's knees (Killer thread)

Bernard Sumner's got a weird affection for knees. Why's that?

This reminds me of how better-sounding Barney's obtuse early 80s lyrics were, compared to his 'think of a word, any word, to rhyme with the last line' lyrics of nowadays.

I love his simpler, poppier lyrics as well, but I absolutely love the abstract quality of his early ones. There's some great stuff on MOVEMENT.
