I always thought that Blue Monday would be good as a slowed down piano peice, I haven't got the tallent for it though, have a go and see what you think.
keep up the good work.
Brilliant!
Can't wait to hear Sunrise and Age of Consent...unless you're going to tackle one of the more electronic numbers next, in which case play on - that piano arrangement of Ceremony really brought out the cyclical, minimalist aspects of New Order tunes.
I could listen to a whole album like this!

The slowed down acoustic version of Blue Monday in 24 hour party people was phenomenal- worth the price of the DVD just for this!
Acoustic and mellowed out covers would make for a very interesting album.
Community- 'Chilled' perhaps???????

I'd be up for that, I'll have to get my PC upgraded first though, cubase runs like shit on it.

I'd love to hear some of these - any links to MP3s?

I've tried covering other New Order and Joy Division songs but they haven't been successful. If you're interested, though, I have covered Cocteau Twins and The Dresden Dolls.
Excellent stuff indeed, Reset - have you posted links to the Cocteau Twins numbers on the forum?

...or on the 4AD forum?
Ah man, I've been playing Ceremony on piano since I first started playing, never actually thought of recording it like that though.
But holy shit, it turned out well for you anyways!! Nice job. ![]()
