The gig to end all gigs!!! Old Blue started a thread on this over in the Ceremony Forum, but the phone's been going all morning. Half the English contingent here have bought up the tickets!

Just answered this in t'other forum, though you might be a bit late cos everyone here seems to have bought up the entire venue already! Am sure there'll be spares though.
A 6 hour show!!! this is looking like a good one! 
Its midweek so people best start planning excuses/holiday for the following day if working, as their will be some serious drinking going on i suspect(just for a change )

No idea, mate. Alex was on the phone before 8am today - he hadn't even got the nod off Andy, someone just heard it on Radio One.

It's a 917 capacity venue. There isn't a single point in the room which could genuinely say New Order are just 'dots' unless you're incredibly myopic!
It's the tiniest venue they've played since the 80's!

Doubt it will be on telly, be on Radio1 but you wont get many chances to see New Order in a venue this small again...

Given the amount of people playing it looks like half hour sets... I would love to see the fall and NO... but only tickets are right up the back now... If anyone is in the front rows and can't make it send me an email to;

Having done gigs in both venues, most people just bundle down the front.
Honestly, New Order's smallest gig in nigh on twenty years and you're making excuses!

Because of security, bombs, health and safety, etc... I severely doubt that we'll be allowed to crowd down the front, therefore i'm not taking the chance of ending up in a crappy seat at the back!
so... if anyone can't make it and has seats in the front stalls i'll be happy to pay to take them off you!

Seems it's a non-starter now cos it's Sold Out, but have you never been to the venue?! It's tiny. Even 'up the back' is probably closer than you could ever get to New order at venues, the likes of G-Mex or Wembley or wherever.

I clicked on the views from the back and they look far worse than my views at Finsbury and Hyde Parks- got right up the front then and the views then were cracking!
Just a hunch, but I wouldn't mind betting that a certain GG may join them again for something at this one. It'll certain be a nostalgic and poignant night. Here's the set list (if they get 45 mins)
