JETSTREAM AND WORKING OVERTIME ARE THE WORSE THINGS NO HAVE EVER DONE. I WISH WORKING OVERTIME WAS OMITTED FROM THE ALBUM.

Having been a member for the last few years - I am sure you are aware what the F stands for ![]()
Im going to get alot of flak for this one, Turn. I still dont see all the fuss about it. Generic lyrics, boring college rock. Didnt REM do this song?ITs not a bad song, and i think all the praise for this song annoys me.
I love Shellshock, and Confusion. I thought the foray into new york city music served them well. They were so ahead their time.

In A Lonley Place and Procession.
Surely worth a mention.

At least someone likes them, barring me.

Hopefully, she neglected to think about these two masterpieces.

Really? You find Lonesome Tonight to be annoying?

Yes I do - sorry! 1963's the only one on the second disc that I like.

You're not the only ones, guys; I like them too! (Only the '87 version of Confusion, though. I think the original's horrible.)
Isn't it great to hear others speak their mind?
Re. Confusion 87. I don't mind it, because Barney's vocals are a lot more confident than on the original. But I think the clash between the backing vocals and Barney's voice clatter up the 87 version.
Yeah, its great people speak their minds. Im sure people will respectfully disagree with my selection of TURN.

While I can see how you'd view it as generic, I think that Barney's passion lifts the song.
You?
i like turn and lonesome tonight. the only song i cant stand listening to is rock the shack. i just wish they would have done a different song for the last song on wftsc, i dont want to here i need your love i just want to buy it i need your love will you help me find it blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. was that really worthy a song to put on twice, i cant remember the name of it at the mo cuz i dont like it. the first time hearing it is alright, but twice, they shoulda done a differrent song remix or just drop it all together.
this is kinda off the topic of my own thread, but does anybody else thing Avalaunche sounds like Enya

Guilt is a Useless Emotion, thats the title of the song that was unneeded just to add some meat to the album, but i love the album personally, minus this thing

CTB
Yeah, I am a huge fan of both tracks, and find it hard to believe that a NO fan wouldn't like them. BUT I am also a huge fan of several NO songs that many people loathe, including WIM, GIAUE, BM and Sub-Culture. Diff'rent stroke for diff'rent folks, I suppose!

Do you mean Mesh or Cries & Whispers? I ask only because they were talking about the second disc of SUBSTANCE, which was mislabelled.
