ceremony certainly cleared up what the cover of both the 'item' box and the 'collection' case meant! watching the man doing ballet with a can of gasoline was a bit odd, and the scene of the burning building in the distance reminded me somewhat of a godzilla film in its simplicity.
i preferred the temptation of victoria. it started out very french new wave. nice how she nicked the 12" from the store and then stopped to buy flowers; then she puts the song on in the middle of the record to coincide with the music. all of a sudden--colour! the rest of the video was a bit boring with 'victoria' dancing, although i understand her 'temptations': the strong desire to have the single and, once it's on, not being able to sit still. interesting dedication to michael powell at the end. i've never seen any of his films, so i can't comment on any similarities there.
