Indeed, initial Kraftwerk tickets for the Festival Hall last year were going for 150 notes, but then dropped off a bit as the gig got closer. However, that venue's three times the size of this one!
Wouldn't mind, but I phoned up the Festival Hall the night BEFORE tickets were going on sale and they said it was alright for me to buy them cos I was already a member there. I had the choice of the entire venue! Didn't think to buy up loads to ebay, just rang everyone I knew to get in there quick!
Be interesting to see how much these go for though. I'd defo say 100+ each!
Hac, did you still want that ticket I got you?! :p ![]()

My mate explained this to me.
Everytime he goes to the post office to post an eBay sell, he takes his two boys. Post office = pick and mix = £1.
Therefore, the actual price quoted is for postage, packing, pick and mix.
Anyway, surely the burning question is whether these tickets are near enough to the front for digiwaters.
I have it on good authority that Hooky has been so touched by digitalwaters's tale of woe in being unable to get a front row seat, he is prepared to allow him to be either a front-of-house monitor or a mic stand, depending on his preference. Which is it to be?

I'll take the mic stand... glad to see you're still not bored of listening to one person who wanted tickets in the front row...

Find it a bit off putting that people are making money off of John Peels back, couldn't give a flying fook about live8 but i think this is different. if it was a normal gig (even for greenpeace etc..) i wouldn't mind.
I do hope it isn't anyone off here selling them

just checked the link and it says New Order are playing with 6 other piece of shit bands that nobody with any taste at all would be interseted in seeing. Fall, Supery Fury Animals and other awful guitar weilding wastes of space. Even Venetion Snares give syth music a bad name. Is there a wy for you guys to just roll in for New Order and save your ears from the damage those other players will inflict?

Going to go for BIG money.
still stuck at £72. maybe the seller is going to be disappointed, I sure hope so. unless of course everyone's waiting to go in for the kill at the last minute ![]()

Normally, with ebay, if you want to avoid a bidding war, bid towards the end of the auction - less likely to get people trying to outbid you with lots of time left...
Quite why people tend to bid early on in auctions, I'll never know, as it just makes the price soar astronomically?
But, yeah, I reckon everyone's waiting to go in for the kill at the last minute... At the moment (at around 40 quid a ticket), it's not *THAT* bad a price, but I can see it fetching double what it currently is... ![]()
