I didn't see anything about this before, but i saw on ebay someone selling a WFTSC promo cd with some of the 7" only mixes, which is great. The tracklisting was:

This tracklisting also suggests that some of the mixes have had to be edited in order to fit on the 7" format.
I remember when the single was announced there was going to be a Timo Maas remix of EGG. Martin Buttrich is Timo's engineer, so this will be the previously announced mix.
Hopefully these mixes will appear on iTunes in the near future ... has anyone heard anything about that?

But you might waste your time, some people have software to overbid anybody at the end ;)
Went for nearly 70 pounds (approx. $122 U.S.). Not bad. I wonder how many of these things there are?

As to how many copies there are around, that's a damn good question - there could be loads (in which case I've overpaid! :p ), or (as was the case with the 60MPH/Someone Like You copies), not that many, in which case it'll be a bargain...
Regardless, because of the vinyl-only format of these mixes, it's sure to become an in-demand item... :\ohwell:
I would guess that, if there are more of them out there, then we'll see them appearing on ebay within the next week - keep your eyes peeled.

How much did yoy pay then senor king? I saw the promo on ebay a few weeks back but didnt really pay much attention to it. Gald i was'nt bidding anways as you have beat me to a few things on ebay!

I know for a fact the BLT on that promo is longer (more like about 6-7 minutes) as Rob Da Bank played it last week. Bet the other mixes are as well. Hopefully they will appear on this 6-track CD single we've seen listed at Amazon today.

Hopefully, the promo'll arrive tomorrow - strange that they haven't put the full length versions on the singles (or indeed, via iTunes), but I suppose they wouldn't fit on the 7" format? :\ohwell:

So the versions of BLT and Temptation on the 7"s are edits, basically. Anyone know more of this promo - how many are about? Would love to get hold of it. You can bet the Japanese 'Singles' will feature the long version of this 'BLT' remix, and the regular Jacknife Lee mix.

Yup, that's the timings of the promo... I would presume that there aren't that many about (reminds me of the 60MPH/Someone Like You CDR's that are scarce nowadays)?
I'm guessing that the Japanese version of "Singles" will indeed have the full length versions - I'll let you know as soon as I've received it, as I've preordered it from HMV Japan! :)

Good question - I'll just check my confirmation e-mail... :)
In total, 6,577 yen, which equates to nearly 33 UK pounds, which is cheaper (and a huge amount) quicker than Esprit (at 36 UK pounds + postage). Esprit also have to wait to import the CD's from Japan (obviously), which (when I tried this a couple of years ago - they may have changed since then), it took Esprit a good couple of weeks to send my order from the Japanese release date.
Oh, and if the release date is a Monday in Japan, I usually get the CD posted around Wednesday/Thursday the same week - very impressed with HMV Japan's delivery! :)

As Ally has said in another thread (and I can't put it better myself!):

Oh, and the full length versions do add something to the mixes (makes the Richard X remix of BLT sound lovely) - hopefully they'll make the Japanese "Singles"?

My comments on the tracks:
Bizarre Love Triangle (Richard X Remix Edit)
Everything’s Gone Green (Cicada Remix)] -EGG vs. Blue Monday. I loved it, though I can't say it is that much creative... But compared to the other tracks, it is a highlight.
Temptation (Secret Machines Remix) -Humm, strange this one. Maybe I'll get used to it... Too much different from the "original" for an extended version and too similar to the original for an updated remix (can someone understand what i mean?)
Waiting For The Sirens’ Call (Jacknife Lee Remix) -One other that I have to get used to... I don't know so many mixes by this guy but he did a very good job with his "Jacknife Lee 12 Inch Remix" of U2's Vertigo. I was hoping something much better.
