I wouldn't be surprised....

Maybe they expect to chart TWICE with the 3x7" and the CD in 2 distinct weeks? if the hardcore buy the 3x7" that's 3 entries for each of them...

Who knows.

And hopefully (although I wouldn't count on it) It'll be the full length versions rather than the edits that have been done to fit on the 7" format.

I don't think this cd format would be chart eligible, but its been done before, I remember the recent reissue of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the silence" had a third non chart eligible cd released a fortnight late that collected some of the promo mixes.

Let's hope it's the full-length remixes as featured on the promos (although the WFTSC mixes will probably match those on the 7 inches - the full length Rich Costey and Jackknife Lee will be on the 2-track CD, after all). Don't fancy bidding for that promo on Ebay just to get the long mixes and one extra version of EGG!!!

Checking that link now, it's been changed to the same two tracks as HMV's listing. So, we'll all be holding out for that promo CD on Ebay now... Or the bloody Japanese version of 'Singles' for a couple of the mixes.
