Whilst I'm waiting with baited breath as much as the next man for 'Here To Stay', there's one little tit-bit of info I picked up at the Hordern on Wednesday, which should be of interest... .

The same team who 'support' New Order on tour; right from the tour manager (Mark Gosling) to the lighting man (Andy Liddle), are all the same crew who do the Chemical Brothers live ... ... So, whenever the Chems are playing live this year, we won't have a chance of seeing the Order. I know they've defo got same dates planned around March/April(?) here, Down Under, and back home in Blighty but not sure how much they've got pencilled in beyond that? However, I do know that the previous Chemicals world tour lasted FOURTEEN MONTHS, which is where all New Order's current crew got together!

Let's just hope the Chems aren't planning a big one this time around! Heavens forbid.

There's always the prospect of a double a header or a joint festival performance, or would the crew not be able to manage that?

If we can crash at your place afterwards maybe !

I saw them on NYE and wasn't mega impressed to be honest.

May go and see them in Offenbach in April, so I can coincide it with a Kickers home game.

Kickers'never a dull moment in homematches'Offenbach!Sounds promising, Sloppy. Reminds me of some news from yesterday: Ewald Lienen, remember, the one that got half his leg cut open, got fired by FC Koln. So much for off-topic talk!

I saw them at Creamfields last year, and I wasn't too impressed then either. Suppose I must be an optimist.

Ho ho......!

What/who hell Kickers (do excuse my ignorance)?

Kickers Offenbach are a piss-poor German football team with a silly name and a bad reputation for hooliganism. I look out for their results every week, even going as far as translating their websites !

Ah, now I see. Why the fascination? Do they have mullet hairdo's? Although they weren't at Creamfields :), I did see the stars of Hollyoaks playing footie, and their football and hairstyles were probably just as bad ;)

Are they bad then these Hollyoaks players ? I'm playing against them and Emmerdale in a few weeks, looking forward to elbowing Eric Pollard and a 50-50 with Kathy Glover !

Didn't pay too much attention to their footballing prowess to be honest. Was distracted by the terrible greasy mop of the muppet who plays the recently paralysed Adam :\puke:
