OK, we all know he has his ahem, 'influences', but he's gone a bit far lately.
First he ripped off the sleeve from Kraftwerk's 1975 album 'autobahn' for 'krafty' but he's done it again, with the UK sleeve for the 'collection' DVD. Check it out, then, when you've done that, take a look at the sleeve for the 1970 Wishbone Ash album, 'Argus'.......

I think he's getting lazy, as of recently. I remember that his original idea for the album cover of WFTSC was to reconstruct the P,C&L album cover. Barney was horrified.
Lets face it, if PC&L Mk2 was his first idea, it must've been the only one, if the (clearly very hurried) sleeve for WFTSC is anything to go by.
I thought it was a joke when I first saw it, then I realised it was the ACTUAL sleeve!!!
Aprat from the fact that they're both pictures of human figures standing with their backs towards the photographer, I fail to see the resemblance...
as a still he can't have set it up that way. However, that still means he can't exactly take much credit. Was it posted on here about wanting to redo PC&L? that's very interesting. I think I might have had too much fruity beer

I thought the Get Ready sleeves were terrible. Quite like the WFTSC sleeve though,bit of a modern update on some of the older artwork. My only gripe was,does it always have to be WHITE? It would have looked better reversed with white letters on orange.
This may have been brought up and i missed it,but is the artwork for the wftsc single what was originally intended for the album?

Great album in it's day and fantastic COVER.I must admit that these new SINGLE COVERS are good.I especially like the INNER SLEEVE colour.Nice ITEM!

Yes it was. However it was either Warner/London or NO's management team that decided to drop it after the tsunami disaster in South East Asia(Given that it depicts a partially nude Asian lady standing in the ocean it could have been considered at the time by some to be in bad taste). So in that context all the Saville-bashing that's occurred because of a very last-minute change in the sleeve(And Warner/London not wanting to spend much more money beyond what it cost them already for the original album and singles cover designs), is very much unwarranted.
