John Peel Tickets - 2 going if ur interested (Not Cheap)

congrats to spotnick and all who contribute - its an fucking ace site for a fucking ace band. as you can see im not the most prolific poster in the world - been registered since 2000 and this is only my second message! im loving the news but not really on for the full on forum postage.

anyway. ive bought 4 tix for the peel event - having missed out on them first time round ive visited ebay and gladly been ripped off to the tune of £280 for 4 tix. and i only need 2, one for me and one for big matty. so rather than shove the remaining two onto ebay again, i reckon id rather hand them over to real devotees who use this site, im happy to give them to 2 peeps for the 70 notes each i paid for mine.

im waiting for the guy to send me them in the post from Newcastle, but whats fair i guess is if you genuinely want the tickets, let me know and we can meet before the gig, first come first served. and you better be nice people cos your sitting next to us! dont have the seat / row location yet, but i guess if your like me you'll just be keen on being there. ive attached a link to the ebay listing so you can see its the real deal.

yeah i found out about the site quite early on i think but ive been totally lazy when it comes to posting messages, hey maybe i should make more of an effort - i check the news every couple of days but will def look at the forums more as well, theres so much good stuff happening here.

brilliant to see so many sound peeps who are into this amazing group of guys (and we will never forget the gal). will def be up for meeting for a drink or three before the event, who knows i may see some faces i recognise - though typically me and matty are so hammered at gigs we cant really remember too much about the people we meet. met quite a few in barcelona this year (i remember in particular a guy called don who was joining in a right good bounce down the front), me mate matty was wearing his motherwell top which made him a few friends - and a few glances at the nou camp earlier in the day from celts fans, specially as the well had helped nick the league away from us the weekend before!

Al, tis indeed the jack with his hat - im glad you know the guy is sound and i may as well arrange to pick up the tickets from him on the day also, would be good to meet you both if he is meeting up with yous beforehand, hope the chaps got good seats! and at the right venue - would hate to realise im gonna be watching engilbert humperdinck next door instead.

Ha ha! Shug - your report on the event was fucking classic! brought back some good memories for me as well, twas an ace festival the site was excellent and the crowd were well up for it, there were loads over from the uk and the locals certainly did themselves proud!

we must have had some kind of chat at some point during the gig, i remember the guy don standing next to me and we were jumping about like maddies, funny you were right next to him as well.

we did go to the temple bar also, we watched the scottish cup final there (crap game) im a celt as well so was happy to see the bhoys take the last silverware of the season home. big matty was giving me some stick that weekend though, with the well ensuring we lost the league.

best gig of the year for me without a doubt. when you meet big matty on the 12th you can give him pelters - cos his team is shite!
