any NO songs without hooky's bass?

Sounds more like the other way round? If the guitar part throughtout the song is produced on a six string bass then its fooled me and im very impressed. It just sounds so much like an electric guitar.

I cant hear Hooky on Shellshock (apart from a tiny instrumentation part in middle) or 1963 either. But I suppose someones gonna say the guitar riff on the outro is Hooky too!:(

I actually wish New Order would still make an effort to record more of their own extended versions of their own songs (and I don't just mean mixing the same wave sounds more often).

Peter Hook's bass performance is not utilisied as much as it really should be. THough many bands make the same mistake.

God is there anything Hooky cant get his bass to do? On second thoughts, dont answer that. Barney could be made redundant!

Cheers for that. Ive never seen a six string bass in my life. Not in music shops, not at gigs, not on TV. Its got a lovely sound though.
