What a load of nonsense. How can Michael Shamburg SHAVE after putting out that load of old toss to accompany two of the greatest songs ever? Certainly without looking int he morror. Not only that, but he's got the balls to write three pages of about how important he is, about half an hour of credits at the end of the stupid video and plug his website (which, like everything else, doesn't WORK) at every oportunity.

Piss poor!

At least whoever put the DVD together had the sense to put these two peices of cat poo with the extras so they don't automatically play with the good stuff.

By the way, I didn't realise Spotnic was in the Spooky promo!

I thought the video for Temptation was great-but should`ve stayed black & white till the end. Ceremony though... what the f***?

The vid for Ceremony is downright bizarre. I think the two videos were saved for the 'More:' section cause they're more artsy, experimental vids, which really is what new order have always done.

But honestly I'd rather see something original and interesting done, or "trippy" as I'd a said at 16, then see typical MTV shit where the band are either: a) pouting around trying to look all teen angst or b) surrounded by half naked girls and Bentleys and bling

Actually, no I'm full of it. New Order doing the b) version would be hilarious!

I *really* like parts of the "Ceremony" video (even moreso than the "Temptation" clip which really runs out of steam at the end), but there are parts that I really *don't* like.

Concur. Some industrial parts of the Ceremony video are fascinating (the city theme). But I regret they tried to do a kind of a plot - they should have been stuck just those images of the lights, concrete, wires etc...

As for Temptation [of Victoria] it looks like a homework of an art college student...

I like a few images from the Ceremony video (cheaply made thing with digital video), but the Temptation one was CRAP. If they had picked a version of the song that wasn't 8 minutes long then maybe I could've forgiven them, but it was too little for WAY too long. Besides, the version of Temptation that she steals isn't even the same one used in the video. Sloppy sloppy.

They were decent videos by high school film class standards. What they should've done for 'Ceremony' was a video of archive footage. 'Temptation' should have been a tour of the past 30 years of Manchester. These new videos start from no where and end no where intellectually and emotionally speaking, which these two impeccable songs do not deserve.

Several posters above said they liked "parts" of the Ceremony video. I don't think I could force myself to watch it a second time to see if there was any moment I didn't detest.
