Settled down to watch all the neworder video's for the first time on DVD last night and noticed that before most of the video's the testcard indicates UK version, UK edit or similar.
Does this mean that their are different versions of these videos made for certain countries or what?
I know for a fact that two versions of the True Faith video was made as this was on the International bonus DVD Sure i've seen a different version of RUIAD and WIM as well before...
I'm not quite sure but I think that some U.S. promo videos may have been shot as well, but that demands confirmation. Best regards, Didier

I believe I remember that the WIM video I saw at the time it was released had shots of the band and a car that are not in the Item version.
Yeah i`ve seen that version.At the end Barney is in a red open top(Mercedes?) with someone (or is it him?) in what i seem to remember is an Elvis suit?.Sorry ,my memory is vague without seeing it again.

Yes, that's it, although I don't remember the Elvis part.

The story goes allegedly that Barney was on a flight from Crete prior to filming the video and had a dream he was wearing an Elvis suit. He then put this in at the end of the video and the song got to number one.

That was actually Barneys own car a red Mercedes 280SL which was used during the video, deffo more footage of the car when it was showed on TV

The WIM video is on both NOStory and A Collection, so it should be easy to compare and contrast. Haven't watched all of Collection yet, so don't know if it's different.
i remember peter saville in the car with barney? i have to watch the video again. i dont remember an elvis suit
I got my dvd promos of a collection + nostory yesterday,says on the disc that items may be slightly different to the standars releases but i aint watched it all way through yet ,so will report back when i do so.

I have seen a very slightly different version of "Round & Round" (not the "Patti" version) that has different shots of one of the models.
