Got this one liner from Warner USA today:

We will have info on our next New Order US club single very soon.

Now I'm curious!

Whoo-hoo!

I vote for WFTSC b/w BLT-Richard X remix! :D

I'm expecting the Pink Noise remix of Guilt Is A Useless Emotion to be on this as well.

Sure thing is, if they do a CD single, they will sell plenty since there wasn't a good one in the UK ;)

I'd like a 12-track CD Single with every remix I've been screwed out of in the last 6 months - with these crap CD-r's people are paying $110.00 for.

They said it would be a club single, so I'm expecting to have dance related singles.

Richard X's BLT is probably a sure thing for this one, as the Planet Funk remixes of WFTSC

Does it come in a layer of about three, a cocktail stick through it and take most of your lunchtime to listen to?

You know, it's like I almost feel compelled to buy that bootleg 11-track CD on Ebay since IT doesn't have a picture sleeve like all the Promo Cd-r's but I guess I'll wait and see what this press release from Warner's is all about.

Personally, I LOVE all the New Order remixes - I am not a purist. New Order's reputation in the US was built in the clubs and it's important to have these - but paying X-amount of dollars for a sleeveless promo, I may as well get the bootleg until the official release comes out. It's not like the label makes money off these Promo CD-r's that have surfaced on Ebay.

At least NO is not like Depeche Mode, where I have to buy 98 different editions of 'Precious' just to get all the versions.

Don't do it.

These are scumbags.. many people on here will give you a FREE CDr if you ask nicely, making profit out of this is non-sense.

I was mostly joking, Jonathan.

I'm not seriously expecting remixes of Turn.

Any further news, Nic?

Well I would have thought that there would be a synth/dance verson of WFTSC single.

Maybe Richard X can make it happen.

The only thing that comes close is the tribute mix, but i'm still not happy, i still would love to hear a synth version.

Maybe there sould be a competiton for the best version like the Jetstream Competition.

Believe it or not, my other source is NOT ALLOWED to tell me what it is.

The term "club single" is a little disconcerting. Sounds like it's going to be a club-only promo that more fools will spend ridiculous prices for on ebay.

Oh wait I know...it's an extended cover of U2's zooropa.

Did the source that said news would be coming "very soon" give any sense as to what "very soon" means?

My source only appologized...

This is curious! I'm just hoping it won't be iTunes only!

I don't think they would expect something from iTunes to get played in clubs.

Since both Krafty and Jetstream did well on the US dance chart, that gives me hope they may try for that a third time.

I KNOW!!!! You'd think with 'Krafty' going to #1 and 'Jetstream' going to #3, they'd have something cooking right up.

I admired Mute/Reprise when they put out Dave Gahan's 'Paper Monsters' in 2003 'cuz even though it didn't sell BIG, 'Dirty Sticky Floors' went to #1 on Billboard Club Play chart (I believe) - then they followed THAT up right away with 'I Need You' which did well and then 'Hold On'/'Bottle Living' which was had a great Tomcraft remix.

The New Order stuff, it's like pulling teeth to get them to put something out and really, NEW ORDER NEEDS BIGGER NAME REMIXERS, dammit.

When Bedrock did 'Crystal' they were on top of their game and that remix was the BEST remix for a comeback single I ever heard. POINT BLANK.

I'm hoping that they'll make it available in the US, and I hope I'll hear some good one. I was NOT disappointed with Krafty or Jetstream at all!
