HMV POSTER SHOCK!

After several messages left at HMV website via "contact us" - email today, poster delivery from their supplier due at end of week. Not holding my breath. H

Just got my pre-ordered 'Singles' today in NZ and NO POSTER. I sent them a shitty chitty! They also split my shipment and sent me two WFTSC/Temptation instead of one of each. Iceholes!!!!

Some cnut from HMV Birmingham has probably taken advantage of the online office relocation to fooking Guernsey and slipped some of the posters out the back door to sell on Ebay. Yet another Shergs conspiracy theory!!(and a lucrative one too if they can sell any more of them at 22 quid a time)

Yeah, I never got a poster neither, but Push poster are selling 90 by 60cm versions of the "Singles" covers collage. Very pretty they are too.

I only just managed to get my other sirens 7,still waiting for the other fooker! As for the posters,well what did we expect,both warners and hmv want fookin.

Yup, after two and a half weeks of ordering, FINALLY they've posted the "Item" DVD!!!!

If it wasn't for these 'exclusive' bits, I certainly wouldn't have bothered with ordering from hmv.co.shite!!!

I got a POSTER today.Trouble is had my picture on it.A REWARD offering £10,000.Wanted DEAD or DEAD.:D

I don't want to piss you off too much, but I've come out quite well from HMV's incompetence.

I went to HMV southport and found 2 copies each of the temptation and EGG versions of WFTSC so bought 1 of each and was given the singles poster, the next day 2 of the 3 singles I'd ordered online arrived, both BLT versions, couldn't believe my luck, popped back to southport bought the other 2 copies, got another poster as well !!!

well done HMV continue fucking up, I love it.

PS. the 3rd single arrived today temptaion but the covers ripped so I'll send it back.

ITEM - order Sep 2 from Amazon UK ain't arrived yet, double dvd order Sep 12 from US arrived Oct 3 HMV - 3x7" ordered online @£2.97 + 2xp&p @£2.50, ridiculous Earlier order in Apr, took them till Aug to let me know they couldn't obtain US BM 12" - shome mishtake shurely? None of the HMV outlets that some of you find ok ain't anywhere near me VIRGIN - there's one nearby but they stiffed me on a damaged Get Ready LP sleeve in 2001 and haven't bought anything from them since SINGLES - anybody know if NO's deal with London allowed unlimited compilations? Do NO have any say in what goes on them? Or are they happy with whatever goes out to make up for lost funds while with Factory? Bought 'em all anyway, of course H

Saga here too. Ordered the three 7" and one cd of WFTSC, all at the same time. Got a letter from a courier in Dundee telling me that they'd tried to deliver something. Then a couple of days later got 2 x 7" singles by Royal Mail, individually wrapped. Then got the cd from the courier (after calling him and telling him how likely I was to drive to Dundee to collect it). Then I got the first item I ordered, Siongles (with no poster, natch). Still waiting for the final 7".

You might be right too abt the conspiracy, Shergsy.

I bought 2 of this 'illusive' HMV/NO poster for GBP10.00 each from Ebay, from a chick in UK. And the next day she had another 8 of those for sale on Ebay!! And at a reduced price too at GBP 8.00 each :\ohwell: I bet one of you NOOL guys here bought some from her.

Cant wait to get them in the mail.

Btw, Depthy, I wonder if the poster you flinched off Warner is the same as these ones I bought from Ebay - they look the same as the pic posted here few weeks ago by a PETE ZARUSTIC except the lettering below the poster is a bit diff...and these posters measure 760mm x 560mm.

It appears HMV have undertaken an overhaul of their shipping services and made quite a hash of it.

Judging by the feedback here it looks like they're remodelling it on the CD Wow method of sending all items individually. This saves floorspace and resources used in relocating and reprocessing standing consignments. They'll offer free shipping to UK customers as an incentive but the disincentive for international customers is that they still charge an individual item rate where CD Wow charge zero for shipping anywhere. If only they had the range.

As for you Snickers, it sounds a lot like we have the same print! Worth shelling out a few clams for sure. Bet that chick who's flogging them all is a till jockey at some HMV store.

I've had the odd problem with late items from CD Wow but happy to wear it given the HMV alternative.

I only have delays on preordered CDs with them but at least they keep me in the picture and it doesn't require a lot of effort from me to get an answer from them. They are fine on DVDs.

As an example, I have ordered 2 DVDs and 1 CD from CD-wow since Item & Singles came out and they all arrived in good time. Whereas I still don't fucking have my copy of Item cos HMV are incompetent cunts.

I've been told the poster will be shipped on the 20th, and Item should follow within the next 5 working days ... we'll see also had the worrrying news that they have not yet received the 7" inch I returned (because they sent me two BLT's instead of EGG). They had better find it and replace it

i've had that problem with returning the 7"'s and they haven't turned up.

the guy on the phone said it'd be two weeks at least before they find out with them moving offices from brum down to guernsey

I got all three WFTSC singles, "Item" and a poster simply by walking to my local HMV and asking...

The Welsh are very friendly..

I too recieved Singles (sans poster). I did however get Item. But by the time I got both of those, they were already for sale in the store anyways. And I'm waiting on the 7" singles. They said it could take two months.
